From time to time I'll have an extra instrument to sell so check back here often and you might see something you like!

A whistle is D made from Mountain Mahogany. This is a very dense, hard wood from the north west of the US (it's not a true mahogany)

The mouth piece is carved from an imitation ivory polymer. This material is used as a modern replacement to ivory and has a nice and subtle grain going through it. The metal fittings and tuning slide are all brass.

This is really a one off but I might consider making a few now and again. I think they look and sound great but they take a bit more time to make than my usual wooden bodied whistles.

 SOLD

I must add that Mountain mahogany doesn't usually come in this 2 toned wood colouring. These striped pieces of wood are quite hard to find. The white imitation ivory plastic takes a bit more work than the black material so if these whistles will cost Euro300 when available.

These two are available now. (october '22)

One with a Cocobola body (left)  and the other with an African Blackwood body.

Both are 265 euro with free shipping within the EU.
